The mission of Project Ensemble is to increase the publics exposure to the fine arts. We bring diversity to the Arts!
Project Ensemble, founded in 1996, was formed to help schools find ways of providing art education after such programs were virtually eliminated in the local schools. Our founder, Edith Daniels-Sumlin, spent years working in the public schools. She has seen a continual decline in art education funding. At the same time, studies show that that students with an arts background, out perform other students on standardized test. Additionally, many students who don't excel academically have found success in nthe arts.
